Reaching and Connecting with Diverse Audiences through Media and Entertainment
Join us on July 21 11 am PT / 2 pm ET
The US is often referred to as a ‘melting pot’ because of its rich pool of various cultures and backgrounds melding together. The percentage of racial minorities in the US population has grown to over 40% as of 2020 (Census, 2020). With so much diversity present in the population, the media and entertainment industry is making significant strides in representing this diversity in the content they produce.
How do media and entertainment brands accurately portray diverse groups of people in both their content and their advertising? How can they stay away from tokenism and ensure the nuanced cultures of minority groups are clearly represented and celebrated? How does one truly represent all types of diversity including those who are differently abled, transgender or members of the LGBTQ+ community? Find out in our webinar.
