Our latest study, ‘How We Watch: Trends in TV Habits,’ delves into consumer preferences for TV watching. It explores reasons behind the growing preference for streaming TV over linear TV, such as the fact that 47% of consumers consider streaming to be the more cost-effective option. On average, households spend $62 per month on streaming, a third less than the $95 spent on traditional TV. Streaming also helps consumers control costs through various tactics such as selectively choosing which services to subscribe to (69%) and using Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (54%).
