ABC’s Call Your Mother Premiere Loses Viewers to NBC, CNN, ESPN and FOX


During the Call Your Mother series premiere on ABC, viewers were tuned-in elsewhere.

In fact, NBC’s Chicago Fire had the highest share of viewers (8.5%) at 9:30pm ET on Wednesday, January 13.

CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time (6.1%), ESPN’s NBA Basketball programming (4.48%), and FOX’s Name That Tune followed before ABC’s Call Your Mother rounded out the top 5 programmings with 4.18% share during the 30-minute time slot.

Prior to the Call Your Mother premiere, 55% of its viewers were already tuned-in to ABC for The Conners, 12% were not watching any live TV and 10% were tuned into FOX for the first half of Name That Tune.

Following the premiere, 43% of Call Your Mother viewers stayed tuned-in to ABC to watch The Chase at 10 pm ET, while 18% stopped watching live TV altogether.
