Viewers Favor Cuomo, This Is Us, FBI Over Prodigal Son’s Season 2 Return

With political happenings at the forefront of this week’s news, CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time had the highest share of viewers (5.63%) during the 9pm ET hour on Tuesday, Jan 12 when FOX’s second season of the Prodigal Son returned.

NBC’s This is Us and FBI on CBS followed, with 5.45% and 4.52% respectively.

Prodigal Son ranked 4th in viewership during its premiere, with 3.7% of the share, and ABC’s airing of Captain America: The Winter Soldier rounded out the top 5 programming that evening with 3.61% of the share.

Prior to the Prodigal Son’s premiere, 50% of its viewers were already tuned-in to FOX to watch the season 4 premiere of The Resident, though 18% of its viewers were not watching live TV at all.

After the episode, at the 10pm hour, 33% stayed tuned-in to FOX watch multiple shows and 32% turned off live TV altogether.
